About the service
We offer a wide range of wound dressings to patients registered with a GP in Ellesmere Port.
We run clinics Monday to Friday (except bank holidays), managed by qualified nursing staff that have a wide range of experience in wound care.
Please note that this clinic is not a drop-in clinic, appointments are required.
The clinic does not provide an Accident and Emergency service; although may provide follow up care for patients who have already been seen in Accident and Emergency departments.
Services we provide
We provide a range of wound care and leg ulcer management.
If we feel that a patient would benefit from an alternative service, we will refer as appropriate.
Accessing the service
We accept referrals from GPs, hospital day surgery and other healthcare professional or you can make your own appointment with us.
An appointment can be made by telephoning 0151 488 8467 (if the line is busy, please leave a message on the answer phone and we will get back to you as soon as possible).
If you are issued with a discharge letter from day surgery or hospital, please bring this along with you to your appointment.
If you are unable to attend your appointment for any reason, please contact the clinic coordinator as soon as possible on 0151 488 8467.
Three attempts will be made to contact you following a missed appointment before you are discharged. However if you still require our care, please ring the dressing clinic coordinator.

Monday to Friday (except bank holidays).
First appointment is 8.45am and last appointment is 3.35pm.
Please report to the reception desk on arrival.
